Our Objective:
The objective of the organization is to proliferate safety and
health in all workplaces in the different industries. ASPPI has been
assigned as the technical arm of the Bureau of Working Conditions with
regards to safety practices, standards and implementation. As the
technical arm, the organization reviews and recommends to the bureau,
the technical capabilities of applicants seeking accreditation as
Accredited Safety Practitioners and Consultants in the country. Another
objective of the organization is to professionalize of the practice of
safety in the country by training/ increasing awareness of safety
professionals to make them more effective in their respective
employers/companies
- Develop the organizational infrastructures to address the local
and international expectations and requirements of our stakeholders.
- Raise the interactivity of ASPPI and it's stakeholders
through a broad spectrum of two-way communications in the printed,
voice and multimedia highway.
- Become the association of choice of the OSH practitioners by
providing developmental support to our members; facilitating job
posting and enhancements and providing worldwide network for our
members.
- Facilitate development and delivery of required and relevant
educational programs for our members, OSH practitioners and
stakeholders.
- Facilitate the development, implementation and continuous improvement of OSH practitioner's accreditation program.

Our Mission:
- To equip all safety professionals with the needed knowledge and
skills in the promotion and application of safety and health programs
and other related activities.
- To upgrade all OSH Standards, Codes, Specification,
Rules/Regulations and programs to globally competitive levels in
conjunction with the national government and its related agencies.
- To generate a continuing program of linkage and partnership
with the other oriented organization and entities to the promotion and
protection of all workers welfare including their families.

profession providing technical and management expertise in the field of

Our Aim:
- Help promote occupational safety and health
- Assist DOLE-BWC and ROs to disseminates and enforce
Occupational Safety and Health Standards, thereby preventing
occupational accidents/injuries and illnesses.
- Promote Professionalism in the practice of safety and health in the Philippines
- Strengthen camaraderie and unity among its members
- Assist educational institutions, industrial and commercial facilities.
Qualifications for membership:
Any individual who has a passion for safety can join the organization in the different membership categories:
- Student Member - Any individual who is currently pursuing any
engineering or allied courses and is interested to develop his
competency in OSH.
- Associate Member - an individual with 40 hour OSH Training
but not yet an accredited safety practitioner by the Bureau of Working
Conditions
- Regular Member - an individual who has been accredited as a safety practitioner by the Bureau of Working Conditions
- Life Member - an individual who has been an active member for the past 3 consecutive years.
- Honorary Member - an individual whether local or foreign, who
is not a regular member but who has exemplary contribution to the
practice of safety in the country.
How much is the membership fee?
- Student Member - PhP 250.00
- Associate Member - PhP 500.00
- Regular Member - PhP1,500.00 (1st year ) PhP 1,000.00 succeeding years
- Life Member - PhP 5,000.00
- Honorary Member - waived
How to apply for membership?
Any individual interested to join the organization may contact
our national secretariat or the regional chapter where the individual
belongs as indicated in "contact us" section or in the contact details
indicated in the individual chapters in our "chapters section"

How can I participate in the organization?
ASPPI has regular annual Symposia and Conventions where you can
learn the latest trends, key lessons and current legislation and
advocacy programs in safety. From these events, you can network with
other safety professionals for your professional growth. If you are
committed to advocate safety, you may actively participate in any of
the committees in your chapter or region. Please contact the chapter
president in the "chapters" section where you belong.
