Are you happy working as safety professional?

Re: Are you happy working as safety professional?YES!!! I am really greatful that I become a Safety Practitioner, Because of this practice it open my eyes to a vast truth of malpractices. The profession itself fuel my interest to learn more about legal matters that was being implemented in a territory and given me the opportunity to practice, implement it the same. At first safety practice is just to conform with legals and policies but later on while I gain the knowledge and experience I learned that safety practice is not practice anymore I became part of my behavior. As an officer, all my co-workers, sub-bordinates and Manager see me as an implementor with an iron fist, where I use legals to enforce the safety practices. Later after frequent meetings, constant communication with all workers whether Top Management or rank and file, they didn't realize that it became part of their culture. They even bring the practice to their homes and teach their children, neighbors and friends. Taking responsibility not only to their self and family but socially responsible to the value given out or shared. If you share a negative value it will give out a negative effect but if the value given is worth remembering, it will last a lifetime. As a safety professional I encourage those aspirants and new to this profession to try it and live with it.
Re: Are you happy working as safety professional?Yes I'm proud to be a Safety practitioner. It was truly a fulfilling experience to see that nobody get hurt every day. I had dual functions as an Engineer and a Safety professional. I have broadened my knowledge through safety than when I practiced my Engineering profession. I am a Professional Mechanical Engineer specializing in the design, construction and operation of Hydroelectric Power plants. although I had some extensive achievements in this field, I have better fulfillment in my practice as a safety professional. I have not only practiced my profession as an Engineer, I have also learned many things in the field of Health, Security, Safety and Environment. I have learned not only to prevent Incidents but also how to manage emergencies.

Re: Are you happy working as safety professional?happy nman ako, mas malaki pa nga compensation kaysa nung Civil Engr. ako
though the problem is that most of the time parang saling-pusa lang sa management team, hindi ko na lang pinapansin..kahit ba medyo minamaliit ng ibang staff members..being a Mapuan i just don't mind them (lalo na pag obvious na palpak ang trabaho) at madalas nangyayari yung "pin-the-blame-on-the-safety" nagagawan ko naman ng paraan para maipakita na "work quality issues are not safety issues" that is the reason why i obligate them to always submit a work methodology..if they deviate from the methodology they gave i just show them the document to prove that there as dumb as an ox pagdating dun sa trabaho nila kung kailangan nyo ng mga presentation just email me at job_offer@dgloriahse.co.cc pag-usapan natin habang bakante pa ko.. thanks!!
Re: Are you happy working as safety professional?Im still working on my papers so i can be an accredited safety practitioner, baka kasi ma-deny sayang lang yung mga papeles ko, baka ulitin ko pa hehe
